I first began working in the fitness industry in 1999 as a commercial personal trainer after years of training in martial arts, dance and competing in athletics and basketball.
After ten years of training general population clients in the gym and working with rugby and basketball teams on their athletic development, I accepted a role as Strength and Conditioning Coach at The Scots College. It was there that I developed a passion for working with teenage and youth athletes and the realisation that mentorship and environment contributed just as much to their success as the training and coaching.
In 2016 I opened Dynamo Athletic with the goal of providing a safe and fun environment for people to get fit and improve their athletic performance.
Dynamo Athletic is a community, Dynamo Athletic is a family.
We are boosting confidence and self-esteem, building physical and mental strength and having a laugh and a joke along the way.
Getting adequate amounts of exercise, sleep, hydration and nutrition will not only help to improve your performance on the sporting field but it will improve your brain function which will maximize your performance in the classroom too.
